For people interested in MCAT tutoring: I obtained a 99 percentile score (521) on the new MCAT (CP:99%, CARS: 90%, BB: 99%, PS: 99%). In addition, I have taken practice tests/done questions from all the major test companies, including AAMC, Examkrackers, Nextstep, Kaplan, The Princeton Review, Altius, and The Berkeley Review so I am very familiar with the questions you are likely to ask about. In addition, I have a background in cellular/molecular neuroscience research so I can discuss biology/biochemistry and psychology/sociology concepts in great detail. I have been tutoring for 2 years, both as a private tutor and a teacher’s assistant. I accept students of all ages, having tutored for college level students as well as elementary school students. I approach teaching by assessing my student’s strengths and weaknesses, followed by addressing confusions to until he/she is confident in understanding of the material.
